EssilorLuxottica in Mexico is seeking an Allocation Manager to lead supply chain analytics for Wholesale, Retail and Web channels. You will oversee reporting, ensure timely allocation and delivery, and troubleshoot job failures with IT and Business Support.

The role requires coordinating with Sales, Operations, Distribution Planning, Transportation, and Finance to set priorities and optimize data flows. Strong Excel and SAP skills are essential.

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field with manufacturing or distribution exposure.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities to drive decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports using SAP, Business Objects and other planning tools, adapting to new requirements.
• Develops complex Excel spreadsheets, automation formulas, and formatted reports.
• Leads a team of analysts.
• Fulfills allocation and delivery requests from Wholesale and Retail teams.
• Reviews requests from Retail and Web teams for accuracy and priority.
• Monitors nightly allocation and delivery jobs to ensure smooth operation.
• Manipulates data between databases to provide actionable insights.
• Participates in Operations and Customer Service meetings to align priorities.
• Collaborates with IT and Business Support to resolve allocation issues.
• Coordinates with Atlanta/Corporate Distribution Planning for shipments and regional deliveries.
• Attends weekly cross-functional meetings to clarify priorities.

GENERAL FUNCTION

Acts as main information & reporting resource for the Allocation team. The Allocation Manager may lead a team of supply chain analysts, who are responsible for ensuring allocation and delivery requests for Wholesale and Retail teams are fulfilled on time and accurately.

The Allocation Manager is also responsible for checking that the allocation and delivery creation jobs are running smoothly for Wholesale, Retail and Web channels and is able to act upon any failure or special request.

The Allocation Manager is expected to troubleshoot in case of errors when running allocation and deliveries and to work closely with Business IT and IT, should their intervention be necessary in solving errors. The Allocation manager will work closely with different stakeholders in the organization (Sales, Corporate Distribution Planning, Operations, Transportation, Finance) to correctly convey priorities of the business.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports utilizing various planning systems, SAP, Business Objects, etc., continually modifying to meet new business requirements
• Assists team with development of complex Excel spreadsheets, automation formulas, & reports formatting
• Is responsible for a team of analysts
• Fulfills allocation and delivery creation requests received from Wholesale and Retail Team
• Checks over requests coming from Retail and Web teams
• Checks over the nightly automatic jobs of allocation and delivery creation to ensure everything run smoothly.
• Manipulates data between databases to provide more useful information
• Participates to meetings with Operations and Customer Service in order to have a clear understanding of the priorities of work
• Works with IT and Business Support in order to solve issues encountered when allocating or creating delivery
• Works with Atlanta or Corporate Distribution Planning team to prioritize specific shipments or to organize deliveries for Distribution Centers of other regions
• Participates to weekly meetings with Operations, Sales, Distribution Planning, Transportation in order to have a clear understanding of the priorities of work

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree; concentration in Supply Chain, Ops, Business, & Finance preferred
• 5+ years' experience in Logistics/Supply Chain or similar environment
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple data sources
• Strong verbal & written skills, in addition to strong presentation ability
• Able to gather, manipulate, & interpret data, solve problems, & establish priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of Access & Visual Basics is a plus. Prior Planning knowledge preferred
