Formación

• Bachelor's degree in international trade or related field.
• Two years of experience handling air cargo, procedures, policies, customs laws and regulations, and customs clearance at the airport.
• Analytical thinking, planning and organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Good administrative skills and computer knowledge.
• Ability to manage English in the customs area.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare customs forms for import, export and transit for air shipments.
• Prepare forms detailing duties, taxes / VAT.
• Prepare international manifests for cargo release.
• Ensure ramp activities comply with policies and tax laws.
• Interact with customs officials and coordinate with internal staff.
• Contact customers to provide information and notify about tax payments.
• Keep customs documentation organized and filed correctly.
• Classify and transfer cargo to other airlines when required.
• Process submission of flight information through customs systems.
• Track cases for different shipments.
• Inventory management of loads in urgent shipping warehouses.
