FedEx Express México is seeking a Customs Agent in Querétaro to handle import/export and transit documentation for air shipments. You will prepare manifests, duties/taxes forms, and ensure compliance with FedEx policies and applicable laws.

The role involves coordinating with customs officials and supporting warehouse operations, with flexible hours as needed. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in international trade or related field, 2 years of experience in air cargo and customs

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in international trade or related field.
• Two years of experience in air cargo, customs procedures and clearance.
• Proficient in English (450 TOEIC points) and able to understand it.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Good administrative skills and computer knowledge.
• English language management in customs area and willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare all customs forms for import, export and transit for air shipments.
• Prepare forms detailing duties, taxes/VAT.
• Prepare international manifests for cargo release.
• Ensure compliance with country policies, tax laws and FedEx rules.
• Interact with customs officials and coordinate activities with internal staff.
• Contact customers to provide information and inform about tax payments.
• Keep all customs documentation well organized and filed correctly.
• Perform classification and transfer of cargo to other airlines when required.
• Process submission of flight information through customs computer system.
• Track cases for different shipments.
• Inventory management of loads found in urgent shipping warehouses.
• Support load-captain function if required.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
