PALO IT is seeking a Front-End core (React) Engineer to own the UI/UX and front-end architecture. You'll work with React+TypeScript, build scalable components, and implement secure authentication flows, REST API integration, and performance optimizations across devices.

You will apply modern tooling (Next.js, Vite, Webpack) and participate in an AI-native development approach, leveraging GenAI tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging.

Formación

• 7+ years of React experience building production web products.
• Strong command of TypeScript, component design, hooks, patterns, performance.

• Own the user experience and front-end architecture with end-to-end product mindset.
• Build accessible UIs with React + TypeScript and reusable components.
• Define scalable front-end architecture, design systems, and code quality practices.
• Implement authentication flows with IdentityServer, OAuth2/JWT.
• Consume REST APIs with robust error handling and state management.
• Focus on responsive design, accessibility, and performance (Core Web Vitals).
• Write unit/integration tests with Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library.
• Ensure front-end security practices (CSP, token handling) and deployment considerations (Docker/nginx).

Your Role

As a Front-End core (React) Engineer, you’ll own the user experience and front-end architecture while keeping a strong end-to-end product mindset (APIs, data, performance, security, and delivery).

• Build modern, accessible user interfaces with React + TypeScript, following strong architecture practices, reusable component design, and clean hook patterns.

• Define and evolve scalable front-end architecture: conventions, modularization, design systems, code quality (linting/formatting), and a pragmatic testing strategy.

• Implement authentication and authorization flows integrated with IdentityServer, leveraging OAuth2/JWT, with secure session/token handling.

• Consume REST APIs, ensuring robust error handling, state management, and resilient UX while integrating with complex UI states using Redux/Zustand/React context.

• Ensure excellent responsive design and user experience across devices and resolutions, with attention to accessibility (a11y) and UI consistency.

• Optimize performance (Core Web Vitals, bundle size, caching, rendering strategies, profiling) using SSR/SSG techniques with Next.js.

• Implement unit and component tests with Jest, Vitest, and React Testing Library, ensuring quality and maintainability while aligning with automation practices.

• Raise the bar on front-end security: CSP, safe token handling, authorization-aware UI patterns, and general hardening practices using Docker/nginx for deployment and optimization.

Who You Are

• 7+ years of React experience building production web products.

• Strong command of TypeScript, component design, hooks, patterns, performance, and maintainable front-end architecture.

• Solid experience with state management, including Redux/Zustand/Context API handling complex UI states, forms, and validations.

• Strong UX/UI engineering instincts: accessibility, visual consistency, attention to detail, and responsive-first design.

• Hands‑on experience integrating REST APIs and working with OpenAPI/Swagger; resilience‑first approach (errors, latency, edge cases).

• Practical testing skills with Jest, Vitest, and React Testing Library (ideally also e2e).

• Experience with modern tooling including npm/Yarn, Vite and build systems like Webpack, focusing on SPA and deployment through Docker/nginx/node.

• Familiarity with edge/CDN delivery mechanisms and caching fundamentals for improved performance.

• Strong front-end security practices: CSP, secure token handling, and awareness of common risks (XSS/CSRF, etc.).

• Professional English for global collaboration (documentation, ceremonies, stakeholders).

AI-Native Engineering (Core Expectation)

• Use Generative AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as a first-class engineering assistant for:

• Code scaffolding and refactoring

• Code generation and optimisation

• Test cases and documentation generation

• Build applications through AI-driven development practices, including:

• AI-assisted debugging and troubleshooting

• Intelligent code completion and pattern recognition

• Automated documentation generation

• Apply prompt engineering best practices for reliable, repeatable engineering outcomes.

• Validate GenAI output (determinism checks, guardrails, fallback logic).
