About this role

Are you curious, creative, and passionate about working with AI? Are you excited about constant learning and using cutting-edge technology? At Kavak, we're looking for an AI Engineer to join our team.

We're looking for a senior backend engineer with a foundation in Python and who has developed scalable APIs or highly robust services. You don't need to have worked with LLMs or AI, but you should be someone with a hunger for learning, who experiments, breaks things, fixes things, learns, and improves quickly.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, optimize, and monitor AI products at scale for customers
• Manage LLMs, prompts, and agents, ensuring that agents correctly use Kavak microservices and perform their duties
• Improve the customer experience and quality of service
• Drive best practices and new knowledge within the team
• Experiment with state-of-the-art models, architectures, and frameworks

What are we looking for?

• +3 years of experience in backend development
• Experience handling SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in Python
• Basic knowledge of Docker
• Experience in event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of React and AWS
• Knowledge of React for front-end development
• Experience developing APIs that interact with LLMs
• Experience using tools like Kubernetes
