Enroute is seeking a forward-thinking AI Enablement Engineer to accelerate our software teams by integrating AI into the SDLC. You will identify, implement, and optimize AI tools, scripts, and custom harnesses to improve developer productivity and outcomes.

The ideal candidate has deep AI model knowledge, strong scripting in Python and Bash, and experience building chatbots and MCP integrations. You will monitor AI usage, costs, latency, and effectiveness, while evangelizing best practices

Formación

• Solid understanding of integrating AI into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Deep architectural knowledge of AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source) and their context windows.
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash.
• Experience building AI harnesses, chatbots, and wrapper APIs.
• Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI with data sources.
• Experience telemetry and monitoring for AI usage (costs, latency, effectiveness).

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and select effective AI tools and models for SDLC challenges.
• Design, script, and deploy AI harnesses, internal chatbots, and MCP integrations.
• Monitor enterprise AI usage, optimizing for cost, performance, and accuracy.
• Educate engineering teams on prompts and best practices for AI tools.
• Stay ahead of evolving AI innovations and bring external ideas internally.
