Job summary

Konfio MX in Mexico City is seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate scalable, secure cloud platforms that power our AI products. You will implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and cost-aware deployments to accelerate product development.

Collaborate with AI/ML teams and Cloud/SRE to ensure high availability, robust security, and regulatory compliance, including CNBV, SOC 2, and PCI, while optimizing operations with Datadog and Grafana.

Qualifications

• 4+ years operating production workloads in AWS.
• Proven Terraform/OpenTofu experience, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with container orchestration and Linux administration.
• Technical mastery of Claude and AI/LLM production workloads.
• Desirable fintech exposure, Python proficiency, AWS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure as code (OpenTofu/Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Docker/K8s) for autonomous deployments.
• Integrate AI platform components (API gateways, model routing, traceability) and optimize costs.
• Administer relational databases with automated failover and backups (RDS/Aurora).
• Centralize credential management and implement proactive monitoring (Datadog, Grafana).
• Collaborate with Cloud/SRE and ensure CNBV, SOC 2, PCI compliance.
