Welocalize is seeking an Automation Specialist to join our Movie & TV Metadata team. The role blends hands-on content work with building AI and automation solutions. Based in Mexico (remote), the position is 40 hours/week, 10:00-18:30 CDT, contract-indefinite, with a yearly salary of 480,000 MXN.

You will start as a project specialist and progressively automate workflows, collaborating closely with PMs and leadership to deliver measurable improvements.

Formación

• No minimum degree requirement; relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience accepted.
• Passion for film and TV industry.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python or JavaScript).
• Advanced spreadsheets with macros, formulas, data models.
• Excellent English communication; able to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized, self-directed, capable in high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Get hands-on with the Movie & TV Metadata project.
• Find opportunities to improve workflows; document backlog and recommendations.
• Design and build automation and AI tools using approved platforms.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership; track impact of solutions.
