Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Agile Project Leader/Manager to join our experience and dynamic software team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tactical project management for both our device software and cloud development teams. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, hybrid software development and test lifecycles, comfort with a breadth of software projects and developers with widely varying skills, and a passion for driving project success. This person will also be key in the team’s operational excellence through the collection and communication of key performance metrics (KPIs).
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Lead Agile project teams to deliver medical device projects on time and within scope.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead the development and maintenance of team performance metrics.
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and team members to define project goals, requirements, and deliverables.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all project teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project teams.
- Utilize Agile tools and techniques to optimize project workflows and enhance team performance.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience with 5 years (3 years with MS) in supporting design and development of medical products as a Scrum Master, Product Owner and/or Agile Project Leader, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in JIRA, including workflow customization.
- Strong Excel skills, including JIRA integration. Power BI skills highly desirable.
- Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS, Jama, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to software development and test and the ability to provide input to or author software‑related standard operation procedures is highly desired.

- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
