Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of structural design/analysis experience in aerospace.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (NASTRAN/ANSYS).
- Experience with CAD tools (CATIA/SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of materials science, fatigue and fracture principles.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze primary and secondary aircraft structures using CAD/CAE tools.
- Perform structural analysis including stress, fatigue and fracture mechanics using FEA software.
- Develop and optimize designs for weight reduction and performance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Create detailed drawings, specs and reports; support testing activities.
