Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Mexicali, Mexico is seeking an Intern Bachelors - Project Engineer for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience coordinating cross-functional teams and assisting in monitoring project progress, budgets, and timelines. You will report to the Sr Eng Pgm Manager and work on-site as part of the Project Engineering and Performance Analyst team.

Qualifications

• Engineering student in Mechanical/Aerospace/Mechatronics with graduation after Aug 2027.
• Experience or coursework related to project engineering or related roles.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and ability to assist in project coordination.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Technical knowledge relevant to engineering projects and problem solving.
• Experience working within a team environment towards goal completion.
• Ability to outline plans or sequence steps towards established goals.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development and validation of aerospace mechanical components.
• Assist in development and qualification test procedures and conduct tests per procedures.
• Help monitor project progress, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Communicate progress and plans to team leader and manager; contribute to technical presentations.
• Utilize IPDS tools and best practices to set and achieve project goals.
