Qualifications

• Requires a university degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and SAP domain.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
• Explain testing and inspection plans to ensure reliability and conformance.
• Analyze nonconformities and propose corrective actions for products & processes.
• Utilize PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans to identify risks.
• Review process control documents to ensure contractual compliance.
• Develop and maintain quality systems for materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with product design to devise testing plans and equipment.
• Ensure projects and process documentation meet requirements and contracts.

Role Overview

Join our team as a Product Quality Engineer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and excellence of our cutting‑edge products. Responsibilities

• Conduct activities to modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
• Provide explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods and/or technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes.
• Provide analysis and develops recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes.
• Utilize UPPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify risk in product development and propose risk management solutions.
• Provide reviews to ensure requirements are met for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and PPAP acceptance.
• Review process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
• Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products.
• Work with product design and specification, devises testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of product and collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect.
• Ensure that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.
• Identify and manage risk in product development primarily utilizing and driving UPPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.).
• Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation.
• Perform Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective action for design problems for internally produced products & processes.
• Design and implement product engineering changes to satisfy quality issues raised by customers.
• Responsible for both Program and Product Quality Engineering.
• Responsible for development of new inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance.
• Influence others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
• Proficient conversational and written English required 75%, needs to be able to efficiently communicate both in person and in reports/via email.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience on related field.
• Lean manufacturing knowledgeable & SAP domain.
• Proficient English required.
