Objective:

Ensure effective management of Mercedes-Benz Mexico’s incoming payments, including issuing invoices, tracking customer payments, following up on overdue accounts, complying with internal controls, driving automations, ensuring accurate reporting, and meeting internal and local requirements. Track and ensure accounting compliance throughout the end-to-end sales processes and electronic accounting.

Day to day (main tasks):

  • Ensure that all processes, procedures, and KPIs performed by the AR & Billing team are completed accurately and in compliance with accounting policies.
  • Ensure that AR & Billing processes and controls are properly in place and aligned with corporate, local, and tax policies, including customer journey, billing, collections, master data, and payment complements.
  • Guarantee proper follow-up with the team to ensure that all AR and Invoicing activities are completed accurately and on time, including timely reporting to the Mexican Tax Authority with payment complements, electronic accounting, and related requirements.
  • Responsible for Customer Master Data in PAC (Authorized Certification Provider), guaranteeing that this process is completed within the established deadlines so the customer journey can proceed smoothly.
  • Review accounting postings across systems involved in AR & Billing RotF processes, develop automation of activities and dashboards for management reporting, and guarantee proper execution of invoice correction and cancellation processes when applicable, in compliance with tax regulations.
  • Develop, review, and maintain records of all related ICS controls for AR & Billing RotF processes, and develop all necessary processes to ensure compliance with AML regulations.

Profile:

  • Education: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Business.
  • Previous experience: 5 years in the automotive fleet industry or B2B corporate sales.
  • Languages: Advanced English

Location: CDMX (Santa Fe)
