Mars in Querétaro is seeking a seasoned Record to Report specialist to lead period-close activities and ensure accurate financial data across multi-entity structures. Job Description:

Your Purpose and Impact at Mars

In this position, you will be a key member of the Record to Report team, taking a lead role in period-close activities to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our financial information. You will act in a collaborative and dynamic environment, empowered to resolve complex accounting issues and drive process improvements that support our global brands.

What are we looking for?

Essential Requirements (What is indispensable to start):

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, period-close processes, and financial reporting.

• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.

Desirable Requirements (These will be considered differentiators, but you can learn with us):

• Experience in a Record-to-Report or General Accounting role.

• Previous work in a Shared Services and/or a multi-entity, multi-country environment.

• Lead and coordinate accounting closing activities for your assigned scope, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial data.

• Collaborate with finance stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for complex accounting issues and supporting root-cause analysis.

• Drive process improvements by continuously reviewing accounting and close processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and standardization.

• Support a strong control environment by performing and documenting accounting controls and identifying any potential gaps.
