Job summary

Roquette in Querétaro, México, is seeking an Accounting Analyst to ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will support month-end and year-end closings, prepare reconciliations and schedules, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and provide reliable financial analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Working knowledge of tax regulations (direct/indirect).
Proficient with ERP systems and Excel; experience with Power BI recommended.

Responsibilities

Perform month-end and year-end closings, including reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and GL transactions.
Prepare monthly reconciliations, analyses, and schedules; resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
Assist in monthly close reporting ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
Prepare payroll-related accounting entries, accruals, and tax provisions; ensure regulatory compliance.
Maintain and reconcile employee and vendor advances; ensure timely settlements.
Monitor expense accruals and coordinate with teams to ensure proper accounting treatment; participate in closing cycles.
