A leading spirits company in Mexico is seeking a professional to manage financial transactions and compliance with local accounting standards. The role includes responsibilities in intercompany reconciliations, invoicing, and tax coordination. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 3+ years of experience, and fluency in Spanish and advanced English. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Meaningful Work From Day One:
Assure that all transactions are recognized properly according to Financial Reporting Standards that impact Brown-Forman's financial statements and decision-making reports.
Control and reconcile Inter companies transactions, receivable and payable balance.
Process miscellaneous invoicing for all the companies
To determine and post expenses accrual’s
Control e-accounting reporting required by Mexican Tax authorities (Trial Balance/Journals/AP)
Assure that expenses are affecting correctly reporting key data such as cost centers, territories and brands.
Coordinate purchase orders set for the controllership area
In charge of external services management (Iron Mountain and others)
Monthly Bank reconciliations and their module maintenance.
Monthly and quarterly balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
Set proper supporting documentation for journal entries.
Attend to internal and external information requirements.
Coordinate Tax and legal matters with auditors and advisors, including Statutory and Compliance Audit + Transfer’s Price Study (México, Chile and Colombia).
Record all GL transactions, coordinate and manage accounting advisory (Colombia and Chile)
Review annual financial statements. (Colombia and Chile)
Education: Bachelor’s degree on Public accounting or similar
Experience: at least 3 years on similar position
Language: Native Spanish and Advanced English
Software: MS Office, SAP

Mexican Tax Laws
Experience in a Big Four firm or in similar industries is a plus
