Job summary

JOB SUMMARY

Provide support for the company’s Vendor Master function, including the creation and maintenance of vendor data, ensuring compliance with SOX security and financial control requirements. Support company sites across Vendor Master, Customer, Pricing, and Material Master operations. Actively contributes to fraud detection and prevention initiatives to safeguard the organization against financial losses, while continuously identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance automation, efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness. Prepare financial statements, ledgers, and taxes for general accounting principles and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compute and prepare data for journal entries, reviews general ledger and related financial statements for reasonableness.
• Accumulate and analyze information for the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, reports and taxes.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for both inside and outside the company.
• Prepare timely reports and communication with functional areas.
• Train other employees both within and outside the department.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
