Job summary

Henkel is seeking an Accountant Collector in Mexico to lead timely recovery of the assigned credit portfolio. You will analyze accounts receivable transactions, monitor payment applications, and generate monthly management reports while maintaining open communication with local teams and leadership.

The role requires Advanced Excel, SAP/ERP knowledge, and English proficiency; Portuguese is optional. Hybrid work model with global opportunities and well-being programs accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel, Macros, AR/Financial analysis competencies.
• SAP/ERP knowledge and data interpretation skills.
• Power BI proficiency preferred for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Recover the value of credit sales within company-authorized period.
• Meet or exceed overdue targets and minimize bad debt.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and local team to resolve collection issues.
• Apply ISO 9001:2015 QM standards in daily activities.
• Identify process improvements and provide administrative support.

About this Position

The Accountant Collector will be responsible for leading the timely recovery of the assigned credit portfolio within the timeframes authorized by the company, with the goal of meeting or exceeding targets for past-due accounts and minimizing uncollectible accounts. In this operational and support role, you will analyze accounts receivable transactions, monitor payment applications, and generate monthly management reports, while maintaining open communication with local teams and leadership.

What you´ll do

• Recover the value of credit sales in the period authorized by the company from customers under its responsibility.
• To reach or over exceed the overdue target and to avoid or minimize the bad debt.
• Create sinergy between different areas (Sales, Customer Service, Logistic, Local Team in order to solve any issue to collect).
• Apply Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 norm in the daily activities.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in the process, providing administrative support for the process.

• Advanced Excel Basic Macros SAP / ERP Knowledge AR Analysis Financial Analysis Power BI (preferred).
• Portuguese (Advanced) English (Upper Intermediate)
