The Clorox Company is seeking an experienced AP Vendor Master Assistant Manager to lead our Vendor Master function in a hybrid role. You will oversee onboarding, governance, and controls across P2P and partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

You will manage data accuracy, reduce risk, and implement automation initiatives while coaching a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• In-depth vendor master data governance and onboarding experience.
• Strong internal controls and fraud prevention knowledge.
• Experience with P2P processes in Shared Services environments.
• Experience supporting US/Canada operations is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop Vendor Master team, driving performance and improvements.
• Oversee supplier onboarding and maintenance for accurate vendor records.
• Maintain governance over vendor master data including banking, tax, and legal entities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, audits, controls, and fraud-prevention standards.
• Partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and system optimization across P2P.
• Analyze trends, resolve escalations, and provide leadership with insights.

Your role at Clorox:

We are seeking an experienced AP Vendor Master Assistant Manager to lead our Vendor Master function supporting U.S. and Canada operations. In this role, you will oversee supplier onboarding, vendor master data governance, compliance controls, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process. You will lead a high-performing team, ensure data accuracy and payment integrity, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence and risk mitigation.

In this role, you will:

• Lead, coach, and develop a Vendor Master team, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee supplier onboarding and maintenance activities, ensuring timely and accurate vendor record management.

• Maintain governance and control standards for vendor master data, including banking information, tax details, legal entity data, and supplier classifications.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, internal controls, and fraud-prevention standards.

• Partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams to support business objectives and mitigate risk.

• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system optimization projects across the P2P process.

• Analyze operational trends, resolve escalations, and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• 6-8 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Vendor Master Data Management, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Shared Services, or related functions.

• Minimum 4 years of people leadership experience, including coaching, talent development, and performance management.

• Experience working in Shared Services or Global Business Services environments supporting U.S. and/or Canadian operations.

• Strong expertise in Vendor Master Data Governance, supplier onboarding, compliance, internal controls, supplier risk management, and fraud prevention practices.

• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar systems.

• Experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP) and supplier onboarding tools is highly desirable.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.

• Proven ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and make sound business decisions.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and leadership levels.

• Experience leading process improvement, automation, transformation, or operational excellence initiatives.

• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.

• Detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset and a strong customer service focus.

Workplace type:

Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
