Softgic in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead backend development using .NET/C#, PostgreSQL, and Azure. You will design scalable services, implement automated tests, and provide production support, ensuring reliability and performance.

Daily work will involve AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and reviews, while collaborating with teammates across the SDLC to deliver quality software on schedule. On-site presence in CDMX is required.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional experience in .NET/C# development.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design and optimization.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud solutions.
• Experience implementing automated tests for software quality.
• Production support: troubleshoot incidents and resolve issues.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools for coding and testing.
• Full SDLC experience from design to production maintenance.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in backend development, databases, Microsoft Azure cloud services, automated testing, and production application support.

Hands-on experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools on a daily basis is essential to optimize software development, debugging, code reviews, and testing processes while ensuring the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development using .NET and C#.

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, SQL queries, and performance optimization.

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services and cloud solutions.

• Experience implementing automated tests to ensure software quality.

• Experience supporting and maintaining production applications, troubleshooting incidents, and resolving technical issues.

• Frequent, hands-on use of AI-powered development tools for code generation, debugging, testing, and code reviews.

• Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design and development to deployment and production maintenance.

• Knowledge of software architecture, scalability, and software development best practices.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Availability to work 100% on-site in Mexico City (CDMX), Mexico.
