Job summary

The successful candidate will hold a related bachelor's degree, valid teaching certification, and at least two years of high school teaching experience, with international teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Valid teaching certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years high school teaching experience.
• International teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Social Emotional Learning: Foster a caring, just classroom community.
• Instructional Strategies: Use diverse approaches including critical thinking and literacy development.
• Daily/Office Hours: Be available for student help and respond to emails daily; attend department meetings.
• Classroom Management: Implement common rules and use Google Classroom for assignments and feedback.
• Event Participation: Attend school events like International Eco-Race, ArtFest and graduation.
• Professional Development: Participate in Wednesday faculty meetings and all-school training.
• Communication: Respond to emails daily and to parents within 48 hours.
