Celestica busca un Analista de Sostenibilidad para desarrollar y monitorear metas sostenibles a nivel regional. Colaborará con equipos multifuncionales para impulsar prácticas ambientales en la cadena de suministro y mejorar la gestión de residuos y consumo de agua.

El candidato ideal tiene experiencia en ESG y auditorías, con capacidad para trabajar en un entorno global y reportar a la dirección con rigor y claridad.

Formación

• Conocimientos de ISO y gestión ambiental.
• Excelentes habilidades en MS Word, MS Excel y MS PowerPoint.
• Buenas habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas.
• Capacidad para trabajar con una diversidad de socios y partes interesadas a nivel global.
• Trabajar en situaciones con cierto grado de ambigüedad y proponer soluciones.
• Comunicación efectiva con clientes internos y externos.
• Gran atención al detalle y seguimiento de tendencias ESG.

Responsabilidades

• Analizar prácticas de sostenibilidad de la cadena de suministro y proponer metas a largo plazo (emisiones de proveedores, embalaje, contenido reciclado).
• Realizar auditorías y apoyar mejoras en la gestión de residuos y uso de agua en sitios.
• Liderar evaluaciones como EcoVadis y apoyar informes de sostenibilidad corporativa.
• Trabajar con representantes de sostenibilidad internos y agencias externas para cumplir metas.
• Apoyar a sitios en el desarrollo y logro de metas sostenibles a largo plazo.

Summary

Incumbents apply knowledge in a specific area of sustainability. Work is guided by general procedures and professional standards. Works on assignments of basic to medium scope and complexity, where analysis requires a review of identifiable factors and a considerable degree of judgment.

Situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods are referred to manager or expert resource. Work may be reviewed for application of sound judgment. May lead a work group or project team consisting of technical and support staff. Builds internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with customers and internal teams.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Working with multiple areas within Celestica’s organization to develop and monitor that appropriate goals are in place within Celestica and its global facilities
  
  
  
  • Analyze the sustainability practices of our supply chain organization and provide input to the development and obtaining targets for our long-term goals (eg, supplier emissions, packaging, recycled content)
  
  
  • Enhance waste reporting including working with internal audit team and operations to define requirements to accurately track and measure data
  
  
  • Drive Celestica’s sustainable water strategy, identifying targets, enhancing reporting
  
  
  • Conduct site waste and water audits

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.


• Overnight travel may occasionally be required

• Minimum of four to six years of applicable experience


• Preference to candidates with environmental management experience

Typical Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
