Job summary

Veolia in Kuwait seeks a Control Room Operator for the UF/RO reclamation plant at Sulaibiya. You will monitor and control the plant, coordinate with the process leader and operations management to ensure safe, efficient performance.

Role requires 3-5 years in wastewater treatment, UF/RO membrane experience, and knowledge of plant automation systems. Strong English is necessary; Arabic is a plus. This on-site position offers growth within a global sustainability leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
• Work experience of minimum 3-5 years in Waste Water Treatment and Reclamation plant
• Proven experience in UF and RO membrane technology
• Experience in plant automation system like DCS, SCADA and PLC is essential
• Knowledge on plant safety and EHS
• Good communication skills in English. Arabic knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• The Control Room Operator shall perform the following and any other tasks as per work requirements: supports safe operation and reports on plant conditions.
• Review process control operation through inspection of system and plant records, technical data, operating reports and historical trends.
• Investigate, diagnose, report, and recommend correction of abnormalities in UF/RO plant system or plant utilities.
• Coordinate operational strategies with Field Service Lead or Manager.
• Maintain daily activity logs and shift reports for management review.
• Ensure proper EHS adherence, chemical handling, and safe isolation of equipment.
