Veolia seeks an EHS Officer for the Sulaibiya Waste Water Treatment & Reclamation Plant in Kuwait. You will support the EHS Manager in implementing and improving HSE programs, ensuring compliance with local laws and client requirements, and fostering a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

The role covers incident investigations, toolbox talks, risk assessments, inspections, audits, and Life Saving Rules adherence.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management preferred.
• Recognized safety training such as IOSH Managing Safely is preferred.
• 4–7 years of relevant industrial, construction or utilities experience is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support EHS Manager in implementing HSE programs across the Sulaibiya site.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and awareness sessions.
• Assist in risk assessments, permit to work and JSA processes.
• Carry out site inspections and participate in audits.
• Coordinate PPE issuance and ensure proper usage.
• Provide guidance on safety procedures to supervisors and workers.
• Support emergency response activities and drills.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait HSE regulations and Veolia standards.
