Job summary

Veolia, a global leader in resource management, seeks a Field Technician (Instrument) for the Sulaibiya Waste Water Treatment & Reclamation Plant in Kuwait. You will assist in preventive maintenance of instruments, support troubleshooting, and participate in plant modification works under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or ITI in instrumentation, 2+ years of maintenance experience (water/wastewater preferred), and English communication skills. On-call and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• English literacy (read/write/speak) required.
• Strong understanding of automation concepts and instrumentation.
• Proficient in reading P&ID, instrument loop diagrams, and control panel wiring diagrams.
• Experience in calibration and repair of online process instruments.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive maintenance of all instruments at UF/RO facility under supervision.
• Support senior technicians in troubleshooting malfunctions and operating defects.
• Assist in plant modification works related to instrumentation under guidance.
• Help replace and install parts and make adjustments.
• Maintain tools and organize inventory for spare parts.
• Support in ensuring equipment runs correctly and assist during emergency repairs.
