Job summary

Mackenzie Jones is seeking a seasoned Treasury professional to manage Kuwait's daily treasury operations, cash and FX, and IT2 system. The role spans inter-company lending, funding projects, and bank negotiations to optimize group profitability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in treasury/finance, knowledge of GAAP reporting, and strong leadership to guide the treasury team across the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an Accountancy qualification and/or a treasury qualification.
• Min 5 years of experience in Treasury and Finance including supervision of operational departments.
• Experience with international reporting and GAAP reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Kuwait Treasury functions including cash and FX management and IT2 system.
• Develop system-based standard processes and enable in-house banking services.
• Coordinate projects with Corporate Treasury and Tax to optimize inter-company lending and repatriation of funds.
• Work with BD teams on due diligence for acquisitions or growth opportunities.
• Develop and progress the existing Treasury team.
• Deliver core Treasury reporting and management through the IT/2 Treasury Management System.
• Support funding requirements and negotiate facilities with banks; manage balance sheet and credit rating.
