Job summary

Zain Group in Kuwait seeks a Network Engineer to execute day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of transport network infrastructure supporting mobile, fixed, and B2B services.

You will install, configure, and test transport network equipment (RON, GPON, DWDM), perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support capacity upgrades while ensuring ISMS compliance and environmental safety requirements.

SUMMARY ROLE

Execute the day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of transport network infrastructure. Ensure seamless integration of systems to support mobile, fixed, and B2B services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor alarms, analyze logs, and respond to incidents promptly.
Maintain accurate records of network inventory, configurations, and updates.
Assist specialists and professionals in troubleshooting escalated issues.
Perform all the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to the supervisor/manager immediately.
Be aware of, and adhere to, all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait, or by the published policies of Zain Group/Kuwait.
Zain abides by fulfilling the occupational health and safety certificate requirements that establishes and maintains an OH&S management system that eliminates hazards and minimizes OH&S risks (including system deficiencies), take advantage of OH&S opportunities and addresses OH&S management system nonconformities associated with its activities.
