Job summary

Bait Al Aseel for General Trading & Contracting Group in Kuwait City is seeking a junior engineer to support technical sales, tendering, RFQ preparation, and order execution for instrumentation and control products and solutions.

The role coordinates enquiries from initial lead through quotation, order processing, documentation, delivery, and customer follow-up, with close collaboration across the project team and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Up to five years in technical sales support, tendering, procurement, or project coordination.
• Kuwait residency and a valid Kuwait driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register and track sales leads, RFQs, tenders, quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries.
• Review customer specifications, datasheets, drawings, and scope requirements with senior engineers and suppliers.
• Obtain technical and commercial offers and prepare compliant quotations, cost sheets, and clarifications.
• Prepare tender documents, compliance statements, submittals, and supporting technical documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, logistics, accounts, and the project team from order confirmation through delivery.
• Follow up manufacturing schedules, documentation approvals, inspections, shipment, invoicing, and payment milestones.
• Maintain CRM/ERP records, enquiry files, quotation logs, and project status reports.
• Support site visits, product presentations, vendor registration, prequalification, and after-sales activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Up to five years of experience in technical sales support, tendering, procurement, or project coordination; Kuwait experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of field instruments, analyzers, control systems, or industrial automation is preferred.
• Ability to understand technical specifications, datasheets, P&IDs, and engineering drawings.
• Good written and spoken English, attention to detail, follow-up skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Transferable Kuwait residency and a valid Kuwait driving licence are preferred.
