Job summary

Weatherford seeks a TCP Specialist – Wireline to plan, prepare, and safely execute Tubing Conveyed Perforating operations for well completion and intervention activities. You will apply advanced expertise in TCP systems, explosive handling, pressure control equipment, and perforating technologies while adhering to Weatherford procedures and HSE standards.

The role requires hands-on field work on onshore and offshore sites, international travel, and mentoring junior engineers while contributing

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in mechanical or petroleum engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 5–8 years of wireline experience with TCP operations.
Proven experience supporting onshore/offshore well completion and perforation projects.
Strong knowledge of pressure control equipment, perforating systems, and well intervention practices.
IWCF/IADC well control certification preferred; explosives handling certification where applicable.
Offshore certifications such as BOSIET, H2S, First Aid/CPR preferred for offshore work.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute TCP operations following approved programs and Weatherford procedures.
Prepare, inspect, assemble, test, and maintain TCP equipment and downhole tools.
Ensure compliant handling, transport, and storage of explosives and materials.
Conduct pre-job planning, JSAs, and operational briefings before each job.
Verify equipment readiness, certification, and documentation prior to mobilization.
Supervise rig-up, testing, execution, troubleshooting, and rig-down of TCP equipment.
