Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a TCP Specialist Wireline to plan, prepare, and execute Tubing Conveyed Perforating operations across onshore and offshore environments. You will lead technical TCP activities, ensure safety, and coordinate with customers, drilling teams, and field personnel.

The role requires deep TCP systems knowledge, explosive handling expertise, and compliance with API/HSE standards. Offshore rotations and mentoring responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of Wireline experience, with significant TCP operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute TCP operations per approved programs.
• Prepare, inspect, assemble, test, and maintain TCP tooling and expendables.
• Ensure explosive materials are compliant with procedures and regulations.
• Conduct pre-job planning, JSAs, and safety briefings.
• Verify equipment readiness, certification, and maintenance prior to mobilization.
• Supervise rig-up, testing, execution, troubleshooting, and rig-down.
• Monitor performance and resolve technical issues during operations.
• Coordinate with client reps, drilling contractors, and service providers.
• Prepare accurate reports and post-job documentation.
• Investigate failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory and proper storage of TCP tools and explosives.
• Mentor junior engineers and operators.
