Job summary

Worley in Kuwait is seeking a Lead EOD / UXO Specialist to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across field surveys and clearance activities. You will provide technical leadership and oversee contractor performance in IMAS-aligned operations.

The role requires IMAS Level III+ certification, 10+ years in UXO/EOD, and at least 5 years in leadership. You will coordinate with project teams to implement risk controls and drive continuous improvement in hazardous environments.

Qualifications

• IMAS Level III+ certification or equivalent.
• 10+ years’ experience in the UXO/EOD sector.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of UXO safety, quality, and health & safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance monitoring of UXO and landmine clearance activities in accordance with IMAS and company standards.
• Provide technical oversight and evaluation of contractor performance in UXO surveys, geophysical investigations, and clearance operations.
• Support the development of UXO management strategies and contract specifications aligned with project and environmental requirements.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure UXO risks are effectively managed.
