Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead UXO/EOD Specialist (Senior Environmental Specialist) for our Kuwait Ahmadi site. The role requires leading UXO and landmine survey, detection, and clearance activities with a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The incumbent will provide technical leadership, oversee quality assurance, and drive continuous improvement in alignment with IMAS and project requirements.

Qualifications

• IMAS Level III+ certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the UXO/EOD sector.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of UXO safety, quality, and health & safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Compliance monitoring of UXO and landmine clearance per IMAS and company standards.
• Provide technical oversight and evaluation of contractor performance in UXO surveys and clearance.
• Support UXO management strategies, scopes of work, and contractor deliverables.
• Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to manage UXO risks effectively.
