Job summary

CANAR Holding seeks an experienced Systems & Network Administrator to design, secure, and optimize our hybrid IT environment in Kuwait. You will manage Azure, AD, Exchange Online, DNS, and network infrastructure, while handling routing, firewall security, virtualization, storage, and backup strategies.

The role demands 5+ years in a similar IT position, strong troubleshooting, and a drive for AI-driven automation. Collaboration with internal teams and a proactive security mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Systems/Network Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory/Entra ID, Exchange Online/M365, DNS.
• Experience with routing, switching, VLANs; firewalls and network security.
• VMware/Hyper-V; Backup & Storage Solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Interest in AI technologies and automation in IT operations.
• Professional IT certifications are a plus.
• Valid Kuwait Driving License is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network and IT infrastructure.
• Manage Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and DNS.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, VLANs, and network monitoring.
• Administer firewalls, security controls, patch management, and system updates.
• Manage virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Support IP telephony/VoIP systems and resolve technical issues.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve IT operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable and secure IT services.
