Job summary

Sisco Jobs, recruiting on behalf of a client in Kuwait, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join a large-scale power plant. You will maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems, coordinate shutdowns, and ensure safety standards.

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of power plant equipment, with strong rotating equipment, preventive maintenance, and root-cause analysis skills. BE in Mechanical is required; ME preferred; NEBOSH or equivalent is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in large-scale power plants.
• Experience with rotating equipment including turbines, pumps, compressors, and motors.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems in a large-scale power plant.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Inspect turbines, pumps, compressors, boilers, and auxiliary systems.
• Coordinate shutdown and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety and maintenance standards.
• Analyse equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare maintenance reports and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for plant reliability.
