Hanmi Global is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to major construction and infrastructure projects across Kuwait. This role will involve overseeing systems such as HVAC and plumbing, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within construction or consultancy sectors, along with strong knowledge of Kuwait mechanical codes and PAHW project experience.

This position requires a valid KSE Membership for candidates already in Kuwait.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (attested).
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction, infrastructure, or consultancy.
• PAHW project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The role involves overseeing mechanical systems—HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related works from design review through installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, PAHW standards, and Kuwait regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review mechanical designs, shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
• Supervise installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and Kuwait codes.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection logs, and progress documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (attested).
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction, infrastructure, or consultancy.
• PAHW (Public Authority for Housing Welfare) project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait mechanical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience on large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical review, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Valid KSE Membership (required for candidates already in Kuwait).
