Job summary

SSH International in Kuwait City seeks an experienced Safety, Health and Environment professional to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on diverse construction projects. You will guide SSH teams in Kuwait and across the region, promoting safe working conditions and a culture of continuous SHE improvement.

You will lead audits, inspections, and reporting, ensure compliance with international standards, and mentor management and supervision.

Qualifications

• Internationally recognized diploma or equivalent in Safety and Health Management.
• Experience and/or knowledge of environmental management.
• Certificate in Training & Development and/or demonstrated facilitation skills.
• Certificate in Safety Auditor Course to OHSAS18001.
• If not degree qualified, must have technical trade and/or technical background.
• 7 years minimum, but desire 10 years.
• Experience with large/complex projects in civil, MEP and infrastructure, including JSA/JHAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver professional Safety and Health Training programs on various construction projects.
• Facilitate and administer safety and health practices to management and supervision.
• Contribute to effective SHE Audit Programs and conduct site inspections and audits.
• Coordinate and report on Monthly SHE performance across SSH projects.
• Communicate and lead by example in implementing a best practice SHE improvement culture.
