Job summary

Anton in Kuwait seeks a Senior Consultant - Geologist specializing in depositional systems. You will lead sedimentology, stratigraphy, and reservoir characterization studies, integrating core, well logs, and seismic data to build robust models and guide exploration and development.

This role requires 20+ years of upstream oil and gas experience, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and proficiency with Petrel or equivalent software.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Geoscience.
• 20+ years upstream oil & gas experience.
• Experience in sedimentology, stratigraphy, depositional systems.
• Proficiency with geological interpretation software (Petrel or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Conduct sedimentology, facies, and depositional systems analysis from cores and logs.
• Develop depositional environment models for field and basin scales.
• Apply sequence stratigraphy to define reservoir architecture.
• Integrate core, well-log, seismic data for interpretations.
• Translate interpretations into 3D static geological models.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior geoscientists.
