Job summary

PingWind is seeking a System Administrator to secure wireless communications and manage cross-domain information sharing across classified and unclassified networks in a DoD cybersecurity context. You will act as the senior technical authority ensuring secure operation of wireless systems and cross-domain solutions within DoD frameworks.

Responsibilities include deploying CSfC VPN capabilities, monitoring security for the VPNM suite, applying critical patches, and developing POA&Ms to implement

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required/DoD 8570.01M IAT Level III with CCNA or greater.
• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with wireless and Cross Domain Solution engineering in a combatant command.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to deploy and maintain CSfC VPN or other wireless solutions.
• Support CSfC operations at SHAW AFB and Kuwait (Primary).
• Maintain, monitor, and control security for the VPNM solution at a single site.
• Apply security patches and updates (e.g., IAVAs) to each product.
• Develop a POA&M to implement security corrections per DoD/DISA requirements.
• Utilize Government approved defenses for auxiliary network devices.
