Job summary

Advanced Search Group is looking for a Cyber Threat Analyst with active Top Secret/SCI clearance to join the Defensive Cyber Operations team. The candidate will design, implement, and optimize measures protecting systems, networks, and information and will develop TTPs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experienced professionals will monitor SIEM data, perform incident handling, and produce comprehensive reports for technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred in Computer Science, MIS, IS, Engineering or related field.
• Five years of practical experience working with data technologies, with at least two years in information systems security, cyber threats and SIEM event analysis.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI required; DoD 8570.01M compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, analyze, and correlate events using SIEM and related platforms.
• Investigate causes and methodologies of compromises or incidents.
• Initiate incident handling procedures to isolate and investigate network information system compromises.
• Perform trend analysis to identify and characterize threats.
• Conduct open-source research to identify exploits requiring response actions.
• Prepare formal reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
• Configure and optimize detection and prevention capabilities.
