Job summary

Alghanim Industries seeks a Senior Accountant to support the accounting team and assist in controls, compliance, and financial reporting across entities. The Senior Accountant will review systems, assess risks, maintain internal controls, coordinate with Legal and Ministry on local laws, and ensure timely ledger reconciliations in a multinational environment.

The role requires a degree in Accounting or Commerce, at least two years' experience, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Must have graduated in Accounting/Commerce and display good relevant accounting knowledge.
Analytical mind set with good problem solving and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Review current systems, assess risks and controls related to processes and support in designing appropriate internal controls to protect company assets.
Handle Independently accounting, compliance and audit of smaller legal entities.
Coordinate and support Finance with Information and Analysis.
Keep abreast of regulatory changes and coordinate with Legal team and Ministry on compliance to Local laws.
Ledger scrutiny and timely reconciliation of accounts.
