Job summary

JS Accountants in Kuwait City seeks an experienced senior accountant to lead monthly closing, budgeting and forecasting, and to mentor junior staff.

You will ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, support the audit process, and analyze variances for management, with strong organization and analytical mindset.

The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; ACCA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' of professional accounting experience in bookkeeping and Financial reporting and Analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• ACCA, CMA preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management
• Supervise and review junior accountants and accountants
