Job summary

Al Mashaan General Trading & Gen Contracting for Buildings in Kuwait City is seeking a detail-oriented junior accountant to support day-to-day financial activities.

You will assist in preparing financial records, process payables and receivables, and help with monthly and year-end closings.

Proficiency in Excel and a basic understanding of accounting principles are required; internships are acceptable for the experience requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 0–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related experience (internship acceptable).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
• Support monthly quarterly and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and issue invoices receipts and payment vouchers.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry tasks with accuracy.
