Job summary

Overview Of The Role

• The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the effective management of the shop floor from the selling ceremony to operations. This role serves as the critical link between sales staff and store management, ensuring the execution of company directives and store objectives. The Supervisor is expected to maintain exemplary performance across all functions, resolve customer issues effectively, and ensure that store presentation standards are consistently met. Success in this role requires strong leadership, the ability to form client relationships, and the capacity to apply knowledge of the fashion industry to enhance sales performance. The Supervisor should also support store management in assessing business performance and implementing strategic initiatives.

What You Will Do

Client and Business Development

• Support the team in building long-term client relationships, leveraging different clienteling tools.
• Enhance the “client state of mind” amongst the team.
• Ensure extensive products knowledge of the team.
• Support store management in achieving business objectives, projects, and initiatives such as reporting, sales analysis, and product training.

Selling & Floor Management

• Provide effective oversight of the shop floor to ensure maximum floor coverage during peak trading periods.
• Act as a role model by demonstrating sales leadership to the team.
• Intervene and provide support during the selling ceremony.

Operations

• Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the facility.
• Accurately process all POS transactions and inventory functions such as transfers, receiving, repairs, and damages to maintain the integrity of the inventory.
• Adhere to loss prevention policies and operational procedures.

Leadership Presence

• Ensure exemplary performance across all functions.
• Effectively resolve customer complaints, exchanges, and enquiries.
• Liaise between staff and management around potential performance concerns.
• Propose and implement action plans to deliver efficient processes and organization of the store.
• Educate the team on sales plan, personal sales goals, and KPIs.

Others

• Act as an ambassador of the brand, culture, quality, and know-how.
• Ensure store presentation standards are achieved and maintained.

What Qualifies You For The Role

• Good knowledge of the fashion/beauty industry and trends.
• Skills in retail operations and systems, customer service, leadership, and problem-solving.
