Job summary

Jumeirah Messilah Beach in Kuwait seeks a Reservation Supervisor to join the Reservations Team. You will handle guest inquiries and reservations via phone, extranet and email, monitor day-to-day results and forecast, and push the sales team to fill needs using the revenue strategies set by the director. The role requires at least 2 years in a similar 5* property, excellent English, and Opera system knowledge. A tax-free Kuwaiti dinar salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within 5* properties.
• Proficiency in spoken and written business English.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of colleagues and management.
• Opera system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest inquiries and reservations via phone, extranet and email.
• Monitor day-to-day results including bookings, rate and forecast vs budget.
• Communicate daily figures to reservations team and drive sales strategies.
• Train front-line sales agents in telephone and selling techniques.
• Ensure PMS reservation details are accurate during shifts.
• Audit transactions to minimize guest disappointment.
• Support Reservations Manager to ensure smooth operation.
