Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a highly skilled Python data scraping engineer for the Tendem project. You will own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring coverage, accuracy, and delivery of structured datasets, while collaborating with Tendem Agents who handle repetitive tasks.

You will leverage internal tools such as Apify and OpenRouter, along with your own approaches, to accelerate collection, validation, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering, applied mathematics, CS, or related fields is a plus
• Strong Python web scraping experience with dynamic content and APIs via proxies

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites; ensure coverage, accuracy, and delivery of structured datasets
• Leverage Apify, OpenRouter, and custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and task execution
• Enforce data quality through validation checks, cross-source consistency, and formatting standards
• Scale scraping operations for large datasets with batching or parallelization and monitor changes in site structure
