Job summary

Mindrift is seeking skilled bot developers to join the Tendem project and build conversational bots and messaging-platform integrations within our hybrid AI + human environment.

As an AI Pilot, you'll design, build, and refine bots across WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and similar platforms, integrating with APIs, webhooks, and back-end services.

This freelance, part-time remote role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to shape real-world conversational experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in backend, integration, automation, or bot development.
• Bachelor's or master's in CS/engineering/IT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build bots for WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and similar platforms.
• Design and implement conversational flows, dialogue state, and fallback handling.
• Integrate bots with LLMs for natural language responses where appropriate.
• Connect bots to backend services, databases, CRMs, and third-party APIs.
• Handle webhooks, rate limits, and platform-specific message formats.
• Evaluate AI-generated bot code and refactor it for correctness, reliability, and graceful error handling.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and recovery so bots stay healthy in production.
