Job summary

KDD is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to lead end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning, and onboarding to meet business needs. You will source candidates, screen, interview, extend offers, and build a strong talent pipeline in Kuwait City, handling local and overseas hiring as required.

You will collaborate with hiring managers and agencies, manage visa processing, medicals, and onboarding activities, and maintain compliant records and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local and international recruitment practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Screen job applications and CVs to identify qualified candidates and source talent through various channels.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline and candidate database to support hiring needs.
  • Shortlist candidates based on job requirements and organizational fit.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Interview and negotiate with candidates and coordinate management-level interviews.
  • Prepare employment offers and employment contracts in line with company policies.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies to support manpower requirements and sourcing initiatives.
  • Coordinate local and overseas hiring activities, including visa processing and mobilization requirements.
  • Conduct onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Facilitate employee transfers in compliance with policies and workforce plans.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance related to employment contracts, transfers, and probation evaluations.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and provide regular updates on hiring activities and outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

About the Role

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the timely attraction, selection, and onboarding of qualified talent to meet business needs. The role supports workforce planning through candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, onboarding, and talent pipeline development. The incumbent will collaborate closely with hiring managers, recruitment agencies, and internal stakeholders to deliver an efficient and compliant recruitment experience while maintaining accurate recruitment records and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Screen job applications and CVs to identify qualified candidates and source talent through various channels, including job portals, referrals, recruitment agencies, and career fairs.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline and candidate database to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Shortlist candidates based on job requirements and organizational fit.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Interview and negotiate with professional and semi-professional candidates and coordinate management-level interviews.
  • Prepare employment offers and employment contracts in line with company policies and approved compensation structures.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies to support manpower requirements and candidate sourcing initiatives.
  • Coordinate local and overseas hiring activities, including visa processing, medical examinations, and mobilization requirements.
  • Conduct onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Facilitate employee transfer processes in compliance with company policies and workforce plans.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance related to employment contracts, transfers, and probation evaluations.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and provide regular updates on hiring activities and outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Qualifications
