Job Summary

The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) in the Container Glass Production Department will undergo structured on-the-job training to learn the end-to-end process of glass container manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers and production staff in operating and monitoring the glass container manufacturing process.
• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control section, ensuring product quality through rigorous inspection, testing, and compliance with ISO/GMP and other standards.
• Oversee defect analysis, conduct process audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Repair and modify moulds, both inline and offline, and apply metrology tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Supervise production efficiencies and quality, ensuring that customer requirements and safety precautions are met.
• Maintain timely and accurate records of production, attendance, quality training, and discipline.
• Monitor production efficiency and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experienced QA/QC Manager and Applied Chemist with 15 years of ensuring ISO/GMP compliance and process optimization.
• Proven record leading systems audits, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional multinational teams.
• Strong expertise in glass container production, working with various glass types such as flint, amber, and green glass.
