Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Kuwait is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to keep guest areas pristine, neat, and well-stocked, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.

You will maintain public areas, toilets, F&B venues, offices and back-of-house zones, handle stock and storerooms, report maintenance, assist guests, practice safety, read policies, and sign declarations as required.

Responsibilities

• To keep public area neat, clean and arranged.
• To keep public area toilets neat, clean and supplied
• To keep F & B areas & outlets neat, clean and arranged.
• To keep offices and back of the house areas neat, clean, arranged and supplied
• To keep out door area clean, arranged and supplied.
• To clean stock and set up storeroom and janitor rooms.
• To use and maintain all equipments as appropriate.
• To report any maintenance requirements to the public area supervisor.
• To assist with any guest request.
• Co-operate with the company to achieve compliance with FLS legislation
• Take moral and legal responsibility for conducting themselves in their work so they do not expose themselves or others to risk
• Read, understand, and implement the relevant sections of the FLS Policy
• Sign the Employees' Declaration having read and understood the relevant sections of the FLS Policy
• Not promote or participate in horseplay, pranks, or practical jokes, which may result in an accident or injury
• Not intentionally or recklessly interfering with anything provided in the interests of safety
• Make careful use of safety equipment, such as gloves, goggles, aprons, overalls, shoes, and so on
• Return safety equipment to its designated storage area after use, and reporting any equipment damage to the supervisor
