Job summary

Gulf Engineering Company is seeking a senior HVAC Maintenance Project Lead in Kuwait. The role demands extensive hands-on experience across preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of complex HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and pumps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in HVAC maintenance projects in Kuwait or the GCC.
• Hands-on experience in preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, package units, DX systems, ventilation, pumps, and HVAC controls.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance teams, subcontractors, client coordination, and maintenance planning.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance reporting is an added advantage.
• Valid Kuwait Driving License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate HVAC preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Lead and supervise HVAC technicians and subcontractors to ensure quality work and safety compliance.
• Monitor HVAC systems performance including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and ventilation.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, manpower plans, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments for smooth project execution.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and HSE regulations.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and maintenance costs; recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and client documentation.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for recurring equipment issues.
• Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables for maintenance.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical support as needed.
• Ensure maintenance activities align with industry standards and best engineering practices.

• Review technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and HSE regulations.
